Whether classes continue who knows but they’re preparing for it as if they are. Better than not.
There are people that were already scheduled these classes and were told they aren't happening. So interviewing for May and June classes doesn't make sense.

If they are interviewing overall that is good news though.

Would imagine so. I’m sure those are moving targets on class dates though depending on what happens. But, yes, overall it looks like they’re trying to keep the pond stocked and the pipeline open for whenever classes resume. Easier to push pre-assembled classes back if necessary when the time comes than trying last minute to assemble a class.

Tpinks, can you revisit this statement in which you guaranteed furloughs won’t happen?

Has something changed since yesterday that we haven't heard about?

As of 1500, all training “suspended”. FAs, FOs, Mx classes all being sent home. All aspects of training stopping. Atp CTP, INDOC, systems, sims.

Anyone currently in the training pipeline, including sims in CVG or STL (excluding OE).

Change came after the IN gov declared no gatherings of >10. Impossible to keep classes going like that. And sims have to stop to not alter the training footprint. Everything will resume at once whenever that may be. Anticipating 3-6 weeks but things change by the hour. Could be longer (more than likely). Doubt it would be sooner.

I consider all of that new hire...My question could certainly have been clearer, sorry about that. Was there any indication this postponement extended to GRS/PV classes? Recurrents? They would be over ten, but I guess they could break them up.
