I was inconvenienced very much but that comes with the joys of commuting. I got to work 24 late and missed about 4.5 hours of pay and I got home 13 hours after my last flight after a $175 one way car rental. I’m not mad or trying to blame anyone or sound ungrateful for the Republic folks that routinely get me to and from work. I was just curious if this was a week of incredibly bad luck or if there was something bigger that I should be aware of so I can prepare for future commutes. I guess it was just bad luck this week.

They’re the nicest and cleanest 200s I’ve been on, and I’ve had no problems commuting on ZW frequently.

For the record, I wasn’t trying to make any comparisons between two companies. I wasn’t trying to imply one airline or airplane or pilot group or mx group is better than another. I have no beef with Republic. I never have and I’m not trying to start any now. I was just genuinely curious because in the 15+ years I’ve been doing this I’ve never experienced 2 flights affected by 3 planes with serious write ups in a 4 day stretch.

Oh dear gawd ain’t that true ... best thing about retirement is not commuting... Mesa was worst and Air Willy right behind.
