Is there any benefit in studying general jet systems prior to class? I'm coming from a CFI background with not much in-depth knowledge about jets... just the basic operations and stuff. Maybe don't study ERJ-specific information so Republic can teach me their way but is it ok to keep reading books like "The Turbine Pilot's Flight Manual" or other related general information study material?
Just come in as a blank slate. Primacy is key here so just follow the system they have and you’ll be good.

How far in advance do they give you information about ATP-CTP, indoc materials, and stuff like that? I've got ATP in three weeks and incoc right after, so there's plenty of time, but I'm curious when I'll learn more about all that. Background check was submitted about a week or two ago.
