Intersting...hmm...

I asked a recruiter about training timeline and this is what I received:

Question - How long is the training footprint overall? Understand I would go to FO training first then upgrade training. Do I complete IOE as an FO and then return to start Captain training or straight to upgrade after the type ride?

Answer - The training timeline will be determined by our review board as they take into account your previous experience. They will then build out a training timeline post FO training accordingly.

Not entirely sure what this response is getting at. Do they adapt the upgrade training (more ground, sims) based on your background? Maybe they have you go fly the line as an FO for a while? Anyone who recently went through DEC at Republic have any insight?
