DEC SDF and IND base seniority

DEC SDF and IND base seniority
Looking at a direct entry captain role at Republic since I live in Louisville. Anyone with access able to tell me the junior captains date of hire at SDF and IND. anyone know if it’s possible to get these bases right out of training?

IND: 01/24/23*
*Two people show under them for the September vacancy bids but do not show up on the official seniority list nor on a company name search, which is odd.
As far as I am aware, they are still allowing DECs to pick their base but I would venture to guess that will be going away as the "New-Hire Contract" signers begin to upgrade en-mass.

I spoke with a recruiter today and she said the direct entry captains do not get base of choice but have to bid in accordance with their seniority for base assignment. Just though that might help anyone considering this route.

No, you cannot be displaced by regular base transfers/swaps. Only way to be displaced is if the company forcibly downsizes a base or closes it.

apprecitate the data! If it’s not too much trouble, would you mind posting the junior captains at each base? Looks like I’d need to commute for a few months before potentially getting SDF, so looking at what’s likely and possible. Thanks again

I didn't realize most juiors are DEC's. my class and the ones before and after were all upgrades. i know a couple of DEC's.
Also, not to be debbie downer for any DEC's lurking but apparantly the DEC program is not going as planned and there is an extemely high washout rate. mainly. procedures adoption from former 135 guys
