Ouch that sucks, I did all my training Part 61 and am a cadet on the waiting list so I guess it'll be a while for me. Did you happen to find out the reason why they're only taking cadets from those schools?

less likely to be loosey goosey training. and its not like theyll take any 141. its real selective. plus mesa folks startin soon and things seam to be slowin down. good luck!

I didn’t get an August date, but I did get a September class date. They called me last Monday.
I’m a non-cadet 1600 hour CFI with my Unrestricted ATP cert and I interviewed end of February and received the offer the day after.
I was pleasantly surprised to be given a class date with everything I’ve read on here, I thought for sure it was only Cadets at least until the end of the year.
