Hoffa sided with the local, the LBFO will not be voted on again. It is officially dead. The game of brinksmanship continues.

pretty surprising as i would have expected the national being in bed with rah executives to be on full display by overriding the local. Not to worry though, the company will come right back to sweeten the offer slightly. this isnt a real "lbfo" as we all know

ENY MEC had a resolution at a recent meeting to pursue a means of allowing experienced 121 guys to come over with credit towards starting at higher pay steps. It's in the company's hands if they are willing to pursue it

Honestly Cujo, why would AA ever do that? I'm all for it and wish pilots didn't have to start all over pay-wise, but I'm not the one making these decisions.

Put yourself in the company's shoes. They know that soon enough Republic pilots will all be dispersing to other companies to avoid being unemployed. AA/Envoy doesn't need all of them, just a good amount. And they know they can get enough pilots at year ONE pay. So why would they offer them the chance to come over at year XXX pay?

Doesn't make sense from a business perspective. I wish something like this would happen and I would gladly put my signature on it. But I don't see AA doing this. Airline executives know Regional pilots gladly recycle themselves over and over.

I could see regionals do this to try and poach more pilots from other regionals.
