You are right, that was me. The computer I used to respond from was signed in as Zaxxon. I have what I need to get started, Thanks for the info!

Why do you have two user names? Trying to be a two sided republic troll?

Wow. So a guy asks for some info to get started at a new airline, and some of you guys go off the deep end AND embarrass yourselves because you do not understand his correct terminology. Then he is still under fire because he only has one post?

Seems legit.

Yes, I was asking about RNAV PLA. I should have been more specific. Ok thanks, I'll build that into my home study.

Seriously, don't study too much. Get into class and just focus on doing what they say, particularly in the sim. It'll seem robotic and rote, but just go with it and develop a style that works for you once you hit the line.

I'm pretty down on RJET and I'm not on board with your choice, but their cockpit procedures are actually pretty decent, especially on the Shuttle side....and the E-Jet is a great airplane on which to gain experience.

I wish you the best of luck.

Can you show me the forum regulation that covers this? How many do I need before I am legit?

Redex 11-23-2015 05:54 PM

I have 3 now. Is that enough?

No, plus you have more than 3. You have your other account that you created.

Can you please tell me my other account? I guess you are the appointed post counter and account counter? That's a great resume builder. Also, you never answered the original question. How many posts do you need before you can be considered legit? Were you not legit on your first post? I signed in because I have a younger brother looking at airlines, and Republic was on his list. I have been a Legacy/Major pilot for 16 years and I am retired Air Force. I was drawn to this thread because it dealt with Republic. It just seemed to me the guy was asking a legit question about what the capabilities were on the E170/190 series aircraft. If you do not know what "Precision Like" approaches are, just Google it. Also, many companies are considering training contracts with companies like Wilco/Feel There to come up with IPAD or laptop training aids based on the success of the FSX/Xplane products. So, now I need to mix it up with you on the legitimacy of my post? LOL. He was asking good questions for a guy looking to do well in training. I know this is a losing battle, because now you will return with some inane comment, so congrats, you win in advance.

Seven months of lurking and this is all you have to offer?
