1. I don't work for Republic...any changes that come about as the result of the expression of my viewpoints will not improve my lot in life and therefore, by definition, are not "self serving."
2. Out of the hundreds of pilots with which I worked while at Republic, I flew with very few (I'm talking fewer than 10) who lived in one of these outstation bases before being hired. I've spoken with numerous pilots who have decided against RJETQ because they didn't like the outstation bases.
3. The day after the 55 aircraft deal with United was announced, Wayne Heller personally told me that he understood that the outstation basing structure was a recruiting disadvantage.
4. I am not and never have been a "union representative."
5. I was never displaced.
6. My "biased beliefs" are actually a reasonable point of view that is largely representative of most pilots who don't live in the NE part of the country and/or aren't Steelers or Colts fans.
