I’ve seen lots of people let the nose drop on the 145, usually cause they land with an excessive pitch attitude and bleed too much speed before touchdown. If flown properly the 145 can be landed quite nicely (13 years and 11000 hrs in it), gently lowering the nose to the ground during rollout.

Heard unofficially “Boeing still evaluating.”
Likely in the $3-4 million range. Sounds expensive...except when you are down a dozen+ airplanes, and none can be had at any reasonable price, without waiting many months or years. I think it might get fixed, if it can be done in less than 5-6 months, since we probably need the lift. |
Im in UA maint and Im hearing the plane will be dismantled on site for spare parts.

Tower cam
EWR Tower has a camera trained on the landing runways. It’ll be interesting to watch, when/if they release the video.

...and if we do get to see the video, it should explain graphically the result of the new rote UPRT training. .....

It’s been very quiet on this and no one seems to know what the aircrafts fate is. Wonder why......

New trend?.. Heard anything recently about a widebody flying into the ground near Houston?

Make an anonymous call to USA Today about it being a 757 MAX and it will be front page.
