That's not happening, unless we have ten smoking hole WB accidents clearly attributal to cognitive decline in old pilots.

Wasn’t the FAA in talks with EASA to increase it to 67/68?

I had heard nothing official about the FAA considering that other than internet rumors. It was a fairly obvious potential development with the pilot shortage looming around the corner. I think it's off the table for now, if it ever was on the table.
