Two fatalities reported, three survivors, no mention of bystander casualties.

Lot of fire to be fuel startvation. Might be from a ground vehicle though.

They flew at FL410-400, how sensitive is the -600 to low fuel temperature issues?
Does is require icing inhibitors like Prist?
Never flown the type.

Again, I have no idea how long it takes for DEF contamination to take effect.

I was walking my dog when he came over. (Of course i looked up—I look at every plane that comes over.https://forums.*************.com/ima...lies/hhmmm.gif ) I heard a plane on what is normally a downwind to 23. At first, I thought it was a Hawker—kind of stubby looking with no obvious stripes or any markings. It was straight north of me and I realized it was a Challenger.

As it came over, turning base, I heard the engines—so, he still had power as he turned over 75. He really wasn’t looking abnormal at all. Gear was down but couldn’t tell about the flaps. After I got back, my phone started blowing up.

I was where the red dot is on the pic.

Another theory is bird strike

Sounds like 5 souls on board. 3 Pax made it out safely and the 2 pilots unfortunately didnt make it... prayers to the families of the 2 pilots

3 Pax made it out safely
I think one was a Flight Attendant or they called her a crewmember at least, she was yelling to the first people on the scene the pilots are still in there.

Hope it's not the obvious reason why a CL604 would run out of fuel after 4.5 hours of flying.
