Looks like left main gear collasped. They slid off while clearing the runway. VAS Aviation has some good coverage:

United planeides off runway at Bush Airport

The guys in the United thread seem ready to crucify their own. No need for facts to emerge. Shoot first, dont bother to ask questions.

Exactly like "miracle on the hudson," except for no river, no water, no dual engine failure, no birds, no glide, no forced landing, no hudson, and it's not an airbus. But otherwise, it's nearly identical.

Much like the similarities between a duck and a bicycle: they both have handlebars, except for the duck.

To you, three sentences is "pontification?"

Do you consider a paragraph to be a novel? You managed two sentences. Would that be a novella?

The American attention span continues to shrink.

oh come on Johnny boy. Let’s not look at your post history. Really, let’s not.
You, in all seriousness, chose to reply to a sarcastic, tongue in cheek comment of six(6) words with your two paragraphs of three sentences.

thank you and keep on keeping on

You're welcome to not read it, should it so dearly offend you (or if it's beyond your comprehension, thus to your embarrassment).

I've no concern at all that you worry about my writing, or which topics or threads I choose to engage.

My post "history" is irrelevant. Try to focus on the thread. Are you able?

again, thank for continuing your holier than though, dogmatic pontification. I’m loving it. Don’t change.
