Hasn't the 787 already had other "runaway electric seat" incidents, one LATAM had comes to mind where the plane did a nosedive and lost several thousand feet before they could release the seat/pilotbelly/yoke pressure.

They had one an airbus too. Somebody slid the seat forward (electric seat) and it pushed a pilot's personal gear (camera in this case) into the joystick.

The Airbus one was that RAF A330?

The 787 yoke event never made any sense. You can have your seat fully forward on a Boeing and unless you are seriously "large", nothing will push the yoke. Unless you panic grab it and try to push against the moving seat, but that's just stupidity.

Maybe the pilot was sitting sideways, legs trapped between seat and column.

Maybe he turned to try to fix the seat controls, than got trapped?
