Default FAA: Remove O2 Masks In Lavs

Here's another reason not to visit the lav when you're flying; you just never know.

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Then substitute with a can of Ozium, I've walked into some cans and have had to make an immediate 180!

For 121 Pilots: This is obviously public information, but please note what is missing from the AD and lets keep it that way. Nuff Said.

Default I have a question.

Why does a news agency feel it's so necessary to release this info out to the general public when it's in regards to a safety matter that pax would not have even known about otherwise?

Instruct the passengers on the use of oxygen in an emergency, but don't tell them that oxygen is not available in the lav? Really?? It should now be a part of every safety briefing. Passengers have the right to know.

Yes they do have a right to know, so why not just let them know when they are aboard the a/c instead of broadcasting it to the whole world is all I.m trying to say.

If what was omitted is what I think it is, that critter is probably already out of the bag.

I have made a little checklist for the captain when he goes to pinch one off at cruise:

Reading material (magazine, newspaper, etc.)................Check
Alcohol wipes ('cuz we ain't got no potable water)............Check
PBE (just in case)............................................. ..........Check

[/sarcasm]

Really, just hold it. Our lavs are nasty.
