+1

Been to DCA in a 172, IMC, and they actually apologized for having to box vector me to let a few fast movers in. (1996).

IAD multiple times, 172, Cheetah and the Mooney. Fantastic service from approach to ground.

thanks folks!

Being based in DCA is good stuff. Love the controllers and the airspace..

Good job by these guys.

The report clearly states that at no point was there a risk of collision. Then of course half way down the page the caption for one of the videos reads: "Three jets narrowly miss mid-air crash"

Idiots.

In any case, Potomac controllers rock!!!

I remember reading an article in B&CA a while back. The author wanted to swing in for a touch and go in his piston single. He asked tower if they could accommodate him. The response was something like "This is DCA, the busier it is the better we like it, expect a left downwind for 22."

They are a total class act, with a good sense of humor. It's great to watch them work when the wx is poor.

Ray Lahood is an idiot if he doesn't consider that a "near miss".

If you take the walkway between B and A there is a small museum on your left up a set of stairs on the A side.
Several interesting pictures are hanging on the wall.
