Asiana 214 recreation by former pilot
I saw that someone got this up in the "main" Asiana 214 thread, but given that it is buried in 50+ pages of debate, I thought it deserved it's own thread, as I feel it is a very accurate recreation.

Maybe the video part is okay but he should have left the playback of the ATC comm out or matched it up with the event better. The video opens with 214's radio call that they're 7 miles out while the video is showing them over the approach lights.
In the real ATC recording (pg 4 of the crash thread) it takes 2:04 from this 7 mile radio call until the "Go around" transmission. Maybe the creator clipped the comm to avoid watching 2 minute of computer generated final approach.
The "go around" transmission is not in sych with the video either. He's got it ~30 seconds into his video with the aircraft about to come to a stop after crashing. It's more likely that call came as the aircraft was approaching the breakwater 10-15 seconds into his video.
