First that apparent CFIT, now a gear-up in a transport category? Maybe they need to revamp their hiring criteria for test pilots.

I did not hear about the CFIT. Reminiscent of the A-320 at the Farnboruogh Airshow?

"The SSJ-100 had a series of mishaps in the past few years. The biggest one was last May when a SSJ-100 crashed into a mountain south of Jakarta while performing a demonstration flight in Indonesia with 45 people onboard. No one survived the crash."

Perhaps in addition to autoland they need to install auto gear extension.
