Default SWA LGA Gear Up Landing

Apparently SWA just had a nose gear collapse on landing into LGA. Aircraft evacuated. 3 minor injuries reported.

I was cleared to cross the runway right before they landed. Scariest thing another pilot ever wants to see.

So CNN says the FAA says they radioed that they had a problem before landing. I can't imagine them landing in LGA knowing they have a potential gear problem. The fire trucks were not standing by either so they must not have known they had an issue. You were there, did they know?

No indication from their transmissions to tower that they knew of anything wrong.

SWA345... they check on at 9:45 and the incident happens at 13:30.
