I've got a bird strike/engine failure in every Boeing type I have (4), and one in the death cruiser. It's just how things are, fly enough and you'll hit birds.

After nearly 3 years now, and flying down low most of that time (below 1500' AGL), I can't believe that I haven't had a bird strike yet. NUMEROUS close calls, but knock on wood, no need for my snarge kit yet!
