Default MH-53E down off of Norfolk, VA

2 crew members dead, 1 missing after Norfolk helicopter crash | Military Times | militarytimes.com

Fair winds and following seas to our fellow airmen.

I had not heard of the HH-60 mishap in England either.
Condolences to the USAF HH-60 community.

I used to be based in the same hangar in NAS Norfolk as the MH-53 squadron. The stat that always amazed me about those helos is they needed 130 maintenance man hours for every flight hour.
