Default C310 Crash in PTK

Royal Air lost a C310 last night in KPTK. It was a hard 200 and 1/2, he was number 2 behind us on the approach and called on with the tower as we were rolling out. He crashed 1/4 mile short of the runway in a wooded area near the approach lights. Tailwinds...

Sad to hear. I loved flying 310s. They can be a handful but very rewarding to fly. Tailwinds...

At one point I had an instagram account and followed a guy who took the most gorgeous photos of his flights around Michigan in the 310. I'm not sure what charter company he worked for but he hopped across lake Michigan a lot. I really hope this wasn't him.....great dude.

Either way, someone is gone now. Tailwinds, sir.
