Well, sort-of.

In the video: a man non-chalantly putting on a sweatshirt as he casually walks away from a raging inferno perhaps 150 ft behind him. People on cell-phones, walking from the plane. The fire truck honking for people to move, as they can't get to optimum spray position....

Just like the video of the Emirates 777: it is astonishing to me that people don't run away from a burning airplane.

That's what I was thinking. I guess it's more important to get that cell phone out and start taking video/pics to post on the internet. I wonder who was in control of the pax once outside?

Probably a slow taxi out. Brakes got too hot.

People have no idea what napalm does to skin and lungs...I'd probably beat my HS record for the 440 (and get hamstring surgery later). Well I'd try to help other folks first.

Uncontained engine failures seem to be all the rage these days...wonder if some revised certification standards will be coming soon?
