I can't believe how many people think that RJET can't survive even with what the pilots are demanding.

The company has one of the best EBITAs in the entire business...worldwide. If everything was working properly (and it will if they just agree to a decent contract) the company would easily be pulling in at least $40 Million a quarter....and that's a BARE minimum.

That's a pretty damned good margin for an airline and that'll keep all interested parties happy. This bankruptcy threat is meant to scare the uniformed and uneducated....do not be fooled.

The company has said many times, both privately and publicly, that it is not willing to return to negotiations.

Anyone with a brain realizes that is the definition of an impasse and a union with any marbles would file suit to get released.

Bottom line is you can't run an airline if you can't staff it. If FO's are going to bail out it's only a matter of time before the flight decks are filled with 2 Captains and then you better hope something changes and fast.
