In my experience 3 days on is the minimum block pbs will award (assuming you are a NB) if I want only 3 day blocks I bid for prefer on min = 3 and max = 3 days, it will usually then build me as many 3 day blocks it can in accordance with max x day grouping being honored and then claim partially honored in reasons report. Often I get 3 three day blocks, then a four or five... Make sense? Plus in before 20k.

Awarded 3 day GS worth 17:42 with three legs on day 1 starting at 7:05am. It's awarded and on my schedule. Sometime late at night they mod the rotation to remove the first turn so only one leg on day 1 and now worth 15:45. Do I get to keep the awarded GS value or have to settle for the modified rotation worth less since I hadn't actually checked in for the rotation yet? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

With pattern bid you are competing with other line holders. Reserve has nothing to do with wether that can be honored.

Line holder gets single pay for the trip value at the time of award and then single pay on top of that for what you actually do. Reserve just gets single pay for what they do (usual x day or <12 hour restrictions).

huh? Are you saying that a pattern bid is for a line only. If so the PBS guide is incorrect.

Yeah the lack of rotation guarantee for res GS sucks. If it gets nooped then the most you can get is suit up pay which is usually nothing.
