When the evil twins, Al and Gary took over in 90', they wanted to impress all of their Marriott pals and started an East Coast north/south operation out of DCA. It was primarily MEM DC-9 crews and we went to BOS LGA EWR ATL FLL MIA MCO RSW and a few more. It tanked, but the silver tray service was awesome and we had many flights with fewer than ten pax. It really wasn't that bad, but then I was flying A' model herks in the Guard so it seemed like an easy workload. I expect todays crew had better hope Delta gets their NASAP program back quick!

If so, it wouldnt be the first time. The short buses at one point did the asia stuff. Interesting indeed if so.

Yes, it did work when the SARS, bird flu, or whatever the epidemic was at the time hit.

Any ideas as to who will have contractual agreements and who won't with Delta/NWA, as far as the 9, that's right.....9 regional carriers, are concerned when the merger is finalized in its totality?

I can only think of eight now:

ASA
Chautauqua
Comair
Mesaba
Pinnacle
Mesa
Skywest
Expressjet.....(if only for a few days)

Shuttle America, although I believe both they and Chautaqua are owned by Republic, and it's Mesa owned Freedom doing the actual flying.

Where is SLT?
"320's out of CVG, SLT/NRT being considered, DC-9 to stay around and no additional reductions "

Would that be SLC?
