When the evil twins, Al and Gary took over in 90', they wanted to impress all of their Marriott pals and started an East Coast north/south operation out of DCA. It was primarily MEM DC-9 crews and we went to BOS LGA EWR ATL FLL MIA MCO RSW and a few more. It tanked, but the silver tray service was awesome and we had many flights with fewer than ten pax. It really wasn't that bad, but then I was flying A' model herks in the Guard so it seemed like an easy workload. I expect todays crew had better hope Delta gets their NASAP program back quick!
Any ideas as to who will have contractual agreements and who won't with Delta/NWA, as far as the 9, that's right.....9 regional carriers, are concerned when the merger is finalized in its totality?
I can only think of eight now:
ASA
Chautauqua
Comair
Mesaba
Pinnacle
Mesa
Skywest
Expressjet.....(if only for a few days)

Shuttle America, although I believe both they and Chautaqua are owned by Republic, and it's Mesa owned Freedom doing the actual flying.
