I had no problems uploading a credit card receipt with Safari...worked like a charm. I am using the new Safari 3.0.2 so I don't know if this makes a difference or not. Apple claims Safari 3 is now the fastest browser on both Mac and Windoze.

jdec141, as far as your scans go, you might try tinkering with your scanner settings because my 200 dpi scan to jpg came out to be about 175k. When scanned to tiff it was 650k. Look to see if you're scanning an "image" versus an OCR document...different scanners use different terminology so your mileage may vary...but your file sizes definitely do not have to be so large.

I agree. Jpegs are the way to go. A 200dpi scan of my uniform receipt was 588kb. The Tiff was huge.

Don't laugh, but earlier tonight I logged on and actually submitted an expense report using the FOX reporting system. However, since I don't own a scanner, but do have a FAX machine, is there some way to fax in my original receipts, rather than scanning them onto a computer and uploading from there. I have printed down the FAX cover sheet, so can I assume that faxing the cover sheet and all associated receipts will work. Again, don't laugh.

That will work, or as the O gram stated, use your digital camera to take a picture then just upload that picture!

Thanks, I'll try the digital photo tomorrow.

Be careful not to upload that picture you took of your Thai massage therapist on that Singapore layover.

Thanks guys for your concern. No worries though, I learned long ago if you don't want something to come back and haunt you, don't take a picture of it. One of our guys didn't make O-6 because of that very thing. Besides, the mind is always more forgiving than a real photo. Know what I mean. And thanks again for the digital image idea, it took only a few minutes and worked like a champ. As an additional good thing, my crew travel auditor, who has been processing my paper expense reports for a number of years, is very proud of me.

Thanks again.
