Quote: For all the Cadets and aspiring airline pilots listening on this channel...

Now is the time. Piedmont Airlines has proven yet again to be the premier regional airline that can offer you unmatched career progression. For those not in the loop, Piedmont has created an unprecedented deal that will increase pay and make the flow faster than ever thought possible.

If you're thinking about one day flying for American Airlines, you need to look no further than joining Piedmont today. Do not wait for classes to fill up. We're in the golden age of aviation in terms of hiring and pay rates. More info will follow. Lots of good people on these forums who can answer any questions you may have. Do not be shy!
An “unprecedented deal” that the sister companies also miraculously created and unveiled on the same day… PDT should focus on actually fixing the garbage schedules and other QOL issues that we’ve been screaming about for years. That’s why people were quitting in the first place and none of it has changed.

Do you get any RTP candidates over there at PDT? Just wondering if you connect with those guys because of your "military background?" I mean, winning the Congressional Medal of Honor during a Vietnam War re-enactment should get their attention.

Being more efficient would help both the pilot group and the company. They can’t look past coverage over the next 15 days. Without a change of schedules/efficiency and something besides a 50 seater the future looks challenging.

The real question is how has big papa AA not taken notice to how inefficient PDT schedules and utilization are? The bonuses are an across the board deal to the 3 WOs to keep pilots (mostly Captains) from bailing. But seriously if PDT QOL was improved it honestly would be a great place for pilots to go to and stay at it all the way till flow.

I know this has been beat to death but, crap schedules, horrible QOL with zero flexibility in schedules, min days off, low credit trips and toxic illegal management practices and culture is what makes PDT be a place to avoid. You want AA WO then go to PSA or Envoy.

Too Good to be True
$22,500 for cadets? Has anyone recently signed on to this? This just seems too good to be true. Ive reached out to a recruiter with some question but haven't heard anything back yet. Does this give you any seniority? Is the $22,500 up front? This looks like a great program on paper but something tells me its all too good.

Im a military rotary wing pilot still researching airlines to apply to so if anyone has some insight on this program that would be great.

Fly Safe!
