Segrave have had a fairly poor reputation in general over the years, but apparently there have been some changes in flt ops lately. They have apparently bought out two other operators and are supposedly now commited to delivery of 15 Hawker 1000s retiring from NetJets, with possible 25 more to come (meaning 40 of only 52 1000s produced).
I have a friend who started recently, and I have an interview scheduled. From what I can gather FO pay is mid-upper forties to start, with $45/day domestic per diem, $80/day intl. They offer medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance and a 401k with 25% match up to 6%. All pilots now receive a Blackberry for trip/hotel/airline info.
Schedule is 9 on/5 off with 8/6 supposed to be coming in the future. Pilots are home based and airlined out to the aircraft with all travel being done on "on" days.
I already interviewed with Segrave about 3-4 years ago for a BE400 FO position which I didnt get. I don't know if this is a reflection of changes since then, but last time I interviewed I drove 5 hrs to a 15 min interview that could have been done over the phone. This time I already had a phone interview before being invited. The interviewer was about to tell me that dispatch would set me up with airline arrangements to Kinston, but when he remembered that I was in NC he asked if I minded driving to the interview and being reimbursed for milage. That in itself seems an improvement on last time from my personal experience.
As with anyplace it could look nice from a distance, but look much worse from within, but I'm willing to check out what they have to offer.
