"were alright for now" Seems unprofessional. Im sure there is miscommunication on one side. I believe classes are full into October. You should call someone in HR to clear up the misunderstanding. Call and ask to be an alternate candidate which means they will call you first if a slot for a sooner class becomes available.

What class date were you originally given? Everyone that I personally know was given the month of their class date at the time of their job offer. If you accepted that date then that's the month they're expecting you to start. Definitely contact your recruiter if you don't know what class date you accepted or when you start training etc.

This x 100. There were at least two people in PDTs July training class with later start dates originally and got bumped up because they were available.

Definitely ask to get put on the waiting list. We are getting a lot of interest from military guys looking to make the transition and they will be jumping into classes at the end of the year, too.

I have a feeling the guys in transition classes will get priority now because the company had made a large investment in them already.

Looking for this, myself. I'm stuck in Afghanistan at the moment, and can't do a proper interview until I get my Class 1 after I get home. Which, according to the recruiter who called me back in... May? I then have a further wait for a class to start. Unfortunate for me.
