XJT had three sims for 269 aircraft. I can't imagine we need 3 sims for 115 aircraft. Something is definitely going on unless they plan to utilize the sims like they do the pilot schedules....

20 given to swapass few years ago on a short lease. Maybe those leases were extended? If not I'm guessing they are headed away from the delta side back to aa

I feel like if I type all of the questions I have about training and what to expect this post would be really lengthy. I've accepted a training date, but have no idea what the schedule looks like, how the process is broken down, when breaks take place, how many days a week, weekends off?, does a workout schedule fit into this. If anyone who is current on training or knows the process. Would it be possible for someone to pm a phone number so I can run some questions by you? I'd really appreciate it. It might take 10 minutes.

Millions isn't that much when we're talking about a company that's worth somewhere in the ballpark of 11 billion $. Average e145 new was 18 million, and e175s retail for ~39 million. I don't think them spending a couple million on old used simulators is an argument against the e175. Not that I think they're coming anytime soon though...

I'm not expecting a new base announcement until at least spring/summer '18. My guess would be an exact number of e145s coming on board/pay raises and retention bonuses

Would be fine with a big E145 announcement. 3 sims seems like they are planning for a lot. What is a normal pilot to sim ratio?

Also another captain retention bonus for the next year is rumored.. the wholly owns are starting to bleed captains not waiting to flow. that's all I know as that's all fodder from the terminal f food court..

Either way I see no bad news.. I heard apparently the 3 wholly owns are outperforming the other contract carriers. Apparently the Phoenix and LA regional lift is in bad shape.

We have a new VP with Kenji out. I wasn't a fan of him since I think he was out of his element and his new role in finance better suits him. We will see what the new guy brings to the table.
Does PDT and PSA have a similar CA bonus that ENY has?

I wouldn't be shocked if they announced a new CA bonus. Surprisingly we have many FOs not wanting to upgrade due to the current FO bonus and CA QOL life being so bad.

How many CAs is PDT loosing per month? ENY is probably 3-4 per month this year without flowing from the flow.

That would be great news but I wouldn't consider that as "big announcement" coming in sept if any.
Maybe new scheduling system?

Like I said XJT had three sims for 269 airframes. I'd say that's a fairly accurate representation. We need more room in Charlotte though to train that many guys though. Classroom space seems to be tight..

Definitely not a new scheduling system. That would have to be approved through the union, and I'm sure we would have heard of that by now
