Rumors abound that UPS will be buying Atlas for the additional a/c and crewmembers with the added benefit of screwing Amazon.

It makes sense as UPS is hiring lots of Atlas pilots and many more have their apps. in.

Some novel ideas on a SLI have been proposed. I like the one about determining seniority integration by W2 amount. Atlas guys would be slotted into the IPA list by how big their W2 is. If it's bigger than a UPS pilot's W2, then he goes ahead of him. If not, then he is junior to him.

Regardless of how it plays out, it would be a huge windfall for Atlas guys, even if they lose seniority or if they lose their seat.

Using APC rates and min guarantee...no Atlas pilots are higher than UPS pilots who are off probation

Yeah... Count me out on this rumor too. 6 months before Atlas bought Southern, Atlas stopped hiring Southern pilots. 25-33% of UPS's classes consist of Atlas pilots right now.

Actually, this is a way for UPS to save money. Get Atlas guys hired at UPS on first year pay vs. having them stay at Atlas and eventually be merged in senior (with higher pay) to all the probie UPS pilots.

I do agree with that amigo. However this clown keeps popping up like General Lee on Flightinfo and eventually it destroys the purpose of a somewhat serious professional forum. I don't really come here for entertainment and juvenile exchanges.......I have teenagers at home for that
