Well, my wife and I both work and max out
our 401k. We have one small student loan left, so I guess you really got me.

So much relevance to the Omni interview in this sub-topic. Yawn is right.

Most guys are young enough that their 401k will retire them as millionaires.
Others are on second careers and already have one pension coming.
Everybody’s situation is different.

Some already have good retirements coming and this is just gravy. For them, daily QOL is more important than yet another retirement stream.

The point is, each pilot needs to decide for themselves.
