They are necessary when you are trying to convince everybody that you are a 17 year old girl.

I work for American out of Phoenix on the A-320. I'm pretty junior. A typical schedule for me is day 1 fly a redeye to the east coast. Sometimes it's 2 legs like PhX-LAX-CLT. Get in around 6am. Day 2 is after 12 hours at the hotel during the day and is usually 1 or 2 legs. CLT-DFw-LAS. Day 3 usually 1 or 2 legs starting in the evening. LAS-DFW-SEA. Day 4 is 1-3 legs usually ending around 7-8pm. SEA-PHX-OAK-PHX.
A senior pilot that lives in base may only do turns and can basically build their own schedule. I typically have 4 on, then 2-4 off.

Well your threads don't add up to your new and improved story. Can't say I believe you but I'll give you and any other 17 year olds reading this the same advice as I'd give my own 17 year old daughter if she were in your shoes (and she ever listened to me). Don't marry a flight attendant. And while it is certainly possible and I've seen it work, don't plan your life around your high school crush (unless your boyfriend's name is George Bush, then go ahead). You should do whatever it is you want to do with your life and let the chips fall where they may. Trying to pick matching careers in HS is a recipe for a lot of pain, missed opportunity, and regret down the road. More than half of all marriages end in divorce, don't plan YOUR life around somebody else's, especially at such a young age. And just in case I wasn't clear, don't marry an FA.

Your mini details say otherwise regarding your age. Beware folks.

I never give my real birthday to anybody, unless I have to.

Yeah, what’s the bill now for a degree with flight, about $150k?.

And then when they turn 18 and say, “nothing you say will stop me...”

Yeah. Good times.
