Quote: What are the chances of getting LGB out of training in June? I know it’s an impossible question, but someone may have some insight.
If you want the west coast, you're picking the wrong blue and white airline. Maybe B6 and AS merge one day. But until then if you want the west coast, AS is where it's at and you can get all the SFOs and LAXs you want. Similarly if you want the east coast, B6 is where it's at.

Isn't Alaska only hiring like 30 pilots this year?

I don't even work @ JB, how could I possibly?

Like they’ve said on here it is highly unlikely. However it wasn’t too long ago that people had to wait a while to get FLL and if you asked any posters on here they’d say it was a for sure no one was getting it in a whilleeeeee. Then you know, things change and now new hires have gotten it. Same airline that tells you they want organic growth will try to buy another the next day so there’s that. The only reality is what it is today and as of today it takes a long time and there no visible change.

AS is not hiring right now. They might open a window in the fall, but just about all their current aircraft orders are expected to be replacements, not growth.

Never said that, said I doubted you were a pilot, specifically an ordinary line pilot.

" HIRING – We’ve put 144 new hire FOs into training so far this year and it looks roughly like the 2019 total by the end of the year will be somewhere between 210 – 250. The “window” will be open July 1 – July 8 so if you have candidates waiting to apply or update apps make sure to give them a heads up. We’ll be advertising as well. Looks like new hire training will resume in July and continue through the rest of the summer & fall. Busy times! "

Ok but to clarify, that info was for AS. To answer the quoted portion of AS only hiring 30 FOs this year.
