Tell you what. Sometimes this industry seems is so chock full of Anti vaccinators, COVID deniers, and tin foil hats. It’s a relief to see there is normal life amongst us. I‘m starting to understand what zombies in movies represent...

Neeleman helped the Chinese fabricate COVID-19 to help him launch his new carrier. With an economic crash, he’s able to move in and start the take over.
Not likely, because he’s actually a lizard person. He was briefed on the engineered culling at least a year ago and knew he’d need to create a new airline to appeal more to younger people. After they take delivery of most the the a220 they’ll shift the ejets to flying on the inside of the hollow earth.

It actually is. Little to no overhead. Aircraft prices dropping. Pilot shortage is no longer a thing. Investors pulling out their money out of bonds/stocks and looking for hard cash investments. The economy will unfortunately completely change the way the industry does business, so it will be easier to just start-up with the new wave instead of transitioning the entire company business plan into something new. My 2 cents. Oh, Elvis Presley is Breeze's new POI.

nothing says great time to start an airline like zero demand for air travel

They are funded for startup activities for at least 1-3 years before ANY revenue. They have to be planning for additional years of not breaking even because that's typical for startups.

Obviously they'll be hosed if this drags on for many years but so will everyone else.

Jetblue didn't really grow up in a great environment either.
