Quote: Will the CRJ pilots be able to bid the E175??
Being a brand new type that would require equal training for everyone, the company would have no reason to exclude any pilot from bidding.

Why wouldn’t they?

They don't get to vote on the TA..??.. lots of goofy things with the ASA/XJT merger... Just wondering if it will be senior LASA guys on the E175 or Senior LXJT...

It'll be a bit of both. The ASA and XJT "sides" will be a thing of the past in 1Q 2019.

Quote: I don’t know whether there could be an agreement between SkyWest and ExpressJet to allow the ExpressJet captains gain experience through the SkyWest system or not. I kinda doubt it, but you never know.
With what is supposed to happen in the coming months, it's highly unlikely.

Does Xjet know the pace of Ejets coming on board? Faster than 2 per month?
Not yet.

These are exciting times for ExpressJet.
I agree.

I actually think SKW will be more than cooperative. There is no way that this doesn’t benefit Inc. significantly or it wouldn’t be happening.

Not getting to vote on the TA is separate from ignoring an ISL and selectively applying a contract. The former has to do with not falling under the XJT group. Yes, we are both ALPA but separate bargaining entities right now. Those who already went over to the ERJ side WILL get to vote... remember them? But until 1 October when the next group of us goes over that's it, and the voting will be done by then.

I could see them sitting in on ground and SIm, but thats it. Just to observe.. and use SkyWests program... (this has been done before in the past)

For the voting, Alpa legal said you cannot vote on a contract that you are not currently under, so L-asa guys cannot legally vote on the l-xjt contract. I was told that came straight from alpa national legal.

I don’t understand what the CRJ guys can’t grasp about this simple concept. It has been said like 100 times.
