UAL wants to short change us on crew rest facilities, then they have to deal with the fallout. Geez, at least give us a curtain.
I believe I’m correct that the LUAL used to require a curtain around the crew rest seat, before bunks?

Now we know why.

We live in a world of instant news, even the non-news kind.

Next: a time lapse video of a captain on a break NOT sleeping at all, followed by a cry of UAL being unsafe because the the pilot wasn’t rested for the landing.

Exactly. It this were a Delta flight, the headline would have been "HERO PILOT TAKES PRECAUTIONARY HEROIC NAP BEFORE LANDING".

And if it were a CNN article, there'd be a mention of and 5 links to the Dr. Dao story.

So... they're upset about a third pilot sleeping in the cabin.
So, I'm sure they wouldn't be thrilled about one pilot on a 2-man crew napping in the cockpit.

Yet, somehow, single-pilot airliners are going to be a-ok with the public. Uh huh... right.

Some very real parallels between that article, the general public, the press and the airline industry and this Monte Python scene....
