The traveling public will insist upon a video camera watching their pilot on live TV to insure he/she doesn't inspect the overhead panel for too long a time period. Also installed will be an electric buzzer to shock the pilot if he/she nods off in sure maximum level of discomfort and fatigue.

Gameify it. 5 seconds before the pilot gets shocked a button lights up in the cockpit. If the pilot presses the button then the passenger who ordered the shock actually gets shocked instead. If the pilot doesn't press the button and gets shocked awake then the passenger gets to shock any other passenger of their choice.

Ahh, memories of the U2 pilots getting a little silly on Friday evening in the squadron building and trying not to laugh when they came down to ask us crew chiefs for a lighter. Haha

I was mastering the art of Zen-napping on the way to Sao Paulo the other day. I plan on exceeding the bar that I set.
Once upon a time, on IOE on the B777, my check airman told me to go to sleep in the bunk after we reached top of climb. Said, I did all this ETOPS stuff back when I was an FO on the B756, so no need to repeat that. Instead, see if you can figure out a way to take a nap. That's the most important part of IOE he said. Learn to sleep on the plane.
They woke me up about 20 West on the way to Gatwick. Who knew there was a phone in there.....Slept right threw the wake up call. Some stew's had to come open the door and shake me to get me awake.
I got high marks on IOE for sleeping during the designated nap time. Sorta like kindergarten for Aviators. It's nap time now....Nitey Nite.
