You do have about 67 limits and Memory Items to study, flows, profiles, 86 Computer Based Training Modules. About 700 pages of Aircraft Operations Manual to read. Flight Operations Manual to review. Use your time wisely for when the call comes....

It’s a sitting frenzy. I’m on the couch now. But I’ll move to the dinning room table in a little while. After that I’ll sit in the bedroom or sit on the porch.

Sometimes I get “mad sick” and sit in the tub!! But that’s just how I roll. The big checks just keep coming in (lol).

In all fairness to the training process - one of the reasons I came here was for the delays.

I got to reconnect with my kids. My girlfriend and I like the time together. Some projects and a little traveling round off the sitting.

I think I’ll go somewhere Monday after a weekend with my boys and my gal.

If your in it for the flow then the delays are great, more time to relax before working with 11 or 12 days off a month.

After indoc are you starting ground school then waiting 7 months for a sim slot? What is keeping people from going to indoc then bailing at a later date?

Not much. A lot of people do leave, especially when they realize what a ****ty airline this is.

Realizing you can work a second job and take advantage of your flight benefits?
Otherwise, you’re spot on, it’s a terrible set-up and most people don’t benefit from it.

Because good luck explaining to another airline why you didn't complete initial training. All Piedmont will say is that a pilot worked there for X period of time and didn't get fired. It's up to the other airline to decide whether you quit on your own volition or you resigned because you were given the opportunity to quit before they had to fire you.
