Quote: I'd bet that it will change. That's the name of the game! I wouldn't bet how, though.

Hang onto the offers that you have, and reassess as you get closer. Heck, you might like a different option even better once you get to that point.
Yeah everything could change! Also, I have to go to Ft. Rucker early 2020, rotor wing school, should I start my 121 career before or after Rucker?

Before. Get your seniority number.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been thinking. But how long does training take? I’ll like to get 100hrs before leaving to Rucker. But reading all the forums saying about training delays it might happen to me also right?

Quote: Many of my friends that went to the then "bottom feeders" of Mesa, Chautauqua, Commutair, Colgan ended up at majors far faster than those of us that went to the then "best regionals" at Comair, Continental Express (now ExpressJet) ASA, (same) and Mesaba. The better pay and benefits meant many more lifers and much slower upgrades then much bigger targets for bankruptcy era concessions.
Ain't that the truth!

So basically for career progression & moving into a Major, Endeavor is not a good option?

Unfortunately there is no golden answer to that question. Things like reserve and staffing issues seem to change monthly. For work rules, pay, and a NYC base 9E is excellent, the flying time isn’t there right now...but in 5 months there easily could be huge changes in that. It’s a gamble, it’s a regional. That’s about all there is to it. Pick what you think works best, and hope you got your timing right.

NYC would be a very easy commute from where I live. What I’m afraid of is to be stocked in career progression. Choosing a regional is more complicated than what I thought lol. I know which Major I want to end up, but don’t know which one can clearly offer me a clear path to it. I feel Endeavor is the one which can lead me to my end goal, but at the same time I read other threads about very low pass rates with the DGI and makes me wonder if it really works.

For the DGI like others have said, the sample size is still pretty small but the rate for the first group was lower than expected I think. That’ll need time to really get a good idea. Unfortunately a lot of management promises or reasons why you’d pick A or B regional take time so it’s impossible to really know if you made a good or bad decision until it’s way too late ha.

For what it's worth, I agonized for months and months over which offer to accept last summer (Endeavor, Republic, and maybe SkyWest). I chose Endeavor, have recently finished OE, and just did my first stint on reserve in NYC.

I've been very happy with my choice thus far. The company has treated me and my classmates very well. I have zero complaints or regrets about coming here.

Yeah, I guess you have to be at the regional to realize if the decision you took was worth it.
