Yeah I guess I’ll have to suck it up with reserve for whatever time it takes, as long I’m in don’t matter right?

Default Got CJO

Ok, did interview and got a CJO, class date early September. Projected to finish training by the end of December.... Would going on MIL leave after 4-5 months(end of May) of being in the line affects my probatory time? I have to go on MIL leave, no choice.

As a general rule, time on long term MIL leave does not count as time on probation so you'll need the time on probation active at the company. You also keep seniority but your longevity doesn't accrue when on long term MIL leave under most contracts so your pay raises will not account for time on long term MIL leave as time in service.

That said, going on MIL leave will not affect your time to upgrade (respecting hourly minimums) and is not held against you by the company.
