I don’t believe this is accurate. There are corporate new hires in nearly every class. If I had to guess I’d say they make up between 10-20% of all new hires.

Does anyone know the value of 1000 TPIC Part 135 at FDX compared to if it was from 121? Does that 1000 TPIC typically have to also be 121 time? See many, if any, new hires from the 135 world?

Thanks

MT
Three 135 only guys in my indoc class in 2017. There have been plenty of others hired since.

Are you sure about that?

Especially when they keep the staffing slim at the FDAs.

So, if 20% are corporate and 135, then where do the other 80% come from? My guess is military and 121, not sure there are a lot of other options.

In my class we had two corporate, but one had previous 121 pic experience.

From what I have seen, most classes are generally 50% military, 30% 121 and 20% 'other' - (meaning, a mixture of 135 and 91).

They said company wide, not the FDAs. The only thing this had to do with the FDAs was the presentation happened there.

It always seems to get 777-heavy at the end of the CY. Training letter complete, backfill heavy into the crew-hungry 777. I’d believe this.
