I posted this in another section, but I thought it might be good for the low time group. If your interested in building time doing pipeline patrol or just want to see America from a different perspective, check out my video. I did pipeline for 5 years and used to get ask all the time by other pilots what was it like flying at 500ft all day. Here's the answer:

TransCanada was the company, and at the time was the only company running Vans in the states. Enbridge in Canada was also running a couple. I have no idea if their hiring.

When your running 25,000 miles of pipe monthly (in very desolate and environmentally hostile locations) at 500ft all day, you want a PT6 sitting in front of you. From a safety perspective it makes total sense. "Dependable Engines"

I did a lot of Googling and found who seem to be them, but I can't find any pipeline jobs, only corporate aircraft. They seem to go by TC Energy. Have any more info?

Hey thanks Captjns!

Yes, that is them, TC Energy. I left in 2015 and they have had a lot of changes including a name change. They are very corporate, so if there is a job opening it would be posted in "careers" on their web site. And yes, at the end of 5 years I was into 6 figures....doing pipeline patrol!!
