Has anyone else had a hard time getting on with American Patrols? I applied at 300 hours and then again at 700 hours. I've never failed a checkride and I seem to check every box they are looking for, however, both times I was given the response that I'm not qualified. I was curious if anyone else get this same problem?
Or they might have simply filled their positions. Remember that when an operator tells you that they have selected another candidate, it does not mean that you're wrong for the job; it may mean many possibilities. It's easy to take it personally and think you lack in some way. This is not necessarily the case.

Perhaps you have too many hours; there's such a thing as being overqualified for a job. Some entry level jobs want to ensure that you'll stick around for a period of time. If there's concern that you might build enough time to skip to the airlines, they might be looking for someone with less time.
