Wondering what the outlook is for CRJ in MSP. Begin training soon and just want to make sure that it is there to stay with the ERJ moving in. Last I heard the ERJ will begin to take CRJ lines and there is potential for MSP to turn into another SLC with only 200's flying. If this happened would the amount of available lines on the CRJ shrink? Also how many hours of credit are most MSP CRJ FO's blocking a month with the current flying? Thanks for your replies and advance!

If you want MSP you might want to get the 175 but there’s no harm If you get the CRJ. You’ll fly your tail off probably and can always transition over down the road.

The CRJ has actually grown a bit since the ERJ moved in. I’d think you’d be good either way.

And where would those 9e -200’s be coming from?

Nobody can say what's going to happen anywhere right now, schedule changes start next month, for mainline, connection/ express. If your ready for an airline career then get a seniority number and hold on, the one thing that's a constant is change. Let's hope this gets under control and things return to "normal" in a couple months.

Just a wild guess but probably Skywest since they will be the only crj operator other than 9E.

The airplanes aren’t the problem, staffing them is. Therefore the question is where will those pilots be coming from.
