Those with underlying conditions can sit at home in isolation and protect themselves. The rest of us should be working.

The potential for economic depression and all the problems that come with it is simply not worth the risk. Repressing everyone equally is an absurdity with a virus that is so specific in who it impacts.

Just one thing, “underlying conditions” could be anything, how many in our country are obese or Diabetic???

I’m not advocating for a lockdown longer than necessary, believe me. I got the Rona and had really very mild symptoms but it does seem to take out others in just a few days

So out of 10,000 that get it, 200 will die. And of those 200, 4 were healthy. So 4 of 10,000 or 1:2500 or .05% chance of death is reason for shutting down economy?

Maybe keep all “high risk” folks at home, and allow all healthy folks to try and get it, take that .04% risk to gain heard immunity for them and keep the country moving?

Thats conjecture.

Facts are they are 18 deaths per million population and they are number 14 when using this measure.

That being said... This measure isnt great because they are in a differnt part of the cycle.

thats somewhere in the neighborhood of .0000005 % of the population

Herd immunity might be a way to finish this out, and is likely going to happen naturally as with most viruses, but right now would be too much for the healthcare system.

Take away:
-Requires prolonged direct contact.
-Be a clean-hand freak.
-Don’t touch your face, that’s the primary means of infection.
-Utilize social distancing.
-Shrink your social circles.
-Disinfect your area frequently.
-Masks DO NOT stop the virus, but keep you from touching your face. Don’t use n95, save them for first responders and medical personnel.
-Home delivery and take out is perfectly safe. Patronize them, they need the work. Just follow the other rules as you do it.

FOLLOW THE RULES! And you’ll be safe.
