To be a member of the only pilot group in the history of aviation to decertify it’s union is not something to be proud of and is going to be a decision that probably haunts most you for the rest of your careers. There is always strength in numbers and in unity which your group, unfortunately, is no longer part of. There will always be rocky roads and turbulent times while working your way through an aviation career but to have had the luxury and support of a union and throw it away is not only a poor and selfish decision of epic proportions but a slap in the face to all who tried to help you and the rest of aviation’s unionized pilots. Say whatever you want to make yourselves feel better and justified in your actions but the truth is still the truth and the odds are, in the long run you will suffer the consequences of your decision to go it alone.

This isn’t about Kenn being the boogeyman. He’s playing you all like a fiddle and you’re eating it right up.

Please. There’s plenty of owner swapping between the fracs. Usually while trying finagle a better deal at contract renewal time, or when ****ed about something the other company did. The latter amazingly often happening about....contract renewal time.

I know that BS gets served up in recurrent, and the little frac that could espirit de corps plays well on the line, but I bet the only appreciable difference FJ has seen in their market share position came from combining with Flops. Otherwise those numbers have been largely static for a looonnnnggg time.

20-30% less for not flying? I've been getting 100% of my pay every two weeks.

What are you talking about? I've spent about 30% of my tour days at home. Still getting 100% pay. Still getting the full 401K match. Full benefits. Haven't had to drive because of reduced basing. And so on and so forth. And it's all been paid right on schedule, no promises to pay part of it later.

Look, I really don't care about getting into one of those 'My company is better than yours!' urinating matches. If people are happy where they are, no matter the company, then that's the most important thing. I only comment on this stuff when false information is being spread. We have taken no pay cuts. We've furloughed no one in the US. None of our fleet has been parked and mothballed. And yes, we do lose some clients to competitors, but also see a fair number of boomerang clients (they come back after leaving) as well as simply getting new clients from competitors. For obvious reasons are new aircraft deliveries have been reduced this year, but we're still taking a fair amount of them. And no, we didn't take a penny of taxpayer money to make it all work. This isn't bragging, just putting the facts out there on what's going on.

Deep breaths everyone. Things are picking up and barring any unforeseen bumps in the road we're all going to be okay. Be happy we're not in the bottom 5000 of any airline seniority list. It could be worse for us.
