You do realize from 2005-2012 range how long upgrades and movement took? Take a break away and realize how lucky you were to begin with over the past 7-8 years of new planes and rapid movement.

Coming on forums with pilots who suffered pay that stuck them into food stamps for years, or pilots who’ve lost everything from 9-11, age 65 and the recession of 2008 isn’t going to win many friends.

It sucks but don’t pretend everyone isn’t having hard times. Look outside the narrow view you want to use for self pity and you’ll see you aren’t alone and many are hurting. How many regionals went under again? Your mainline partner furloughed how many?

Oh and I’d say if your healthy today that’s a huge victory in itself! How many would give everything just to have their health today?

I mean that's just business as usual here. The union has never been communicative, and the only reason folks put up with reserve here pre covid was because you'd move up and out pretty quickly.

There's at least a vaccine on the horizon now, and it seems like the LCC's are doing fairly well (apart from Southwest trying to muscle some last minute concessions). So it's not all rainbows and butterflies, but it's not quite as bleak as it was a while back.

Keep your resume up to date, and be ready to strike when the opportunity presents itself. There'll be some more rough months, but this will eventually be behind us... or everything will collapse in which case hey it doesn't matter anymore!
