I am not advocating that commuting time be rolled into duty time, because for one it would be an unmitigated disaster wrt scheduling the airline or it would force commuting on OALs or commuting the night before in many cases. The company couldn't handle the resulting chaos that would be inevitable. But separate what she is saying regarding fatigue, and I think if you are honest about it you will actually agree with her.

Can any of you honestly say she is wrong? If she is, then why does the company pushing you make a difference? You only need three or four hours of quality sleep before going into a 15 hour day, right?I am not advocating that commuting time be rolled into duty time, because for one it would be an unmitigated disaster wrt scheduling the airline or it would force commuting on OALs or commuting the night before in many cases.
